VolunteeringIf you love prowling the aisles at Home Depot or Lowes , enjoy fixing things,
or just want to help recycle building materials while supporting adequate housing,
THE ReSTORE NEEDS YOU!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
•Warehouse Worker: prepare donations, unload truck, provide in-store customer service, stock the store. Clean and organize the interior and exterior of the store. Some heavy lifting may be involved.
•Truck Assistant: load/unload truck, ride along in the truck and help pick up donated items. Some heavy lifting may be involved.
•Other: marketing, fund raising, working on special events, cleaning.
Four-hour shifts are available from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Saturday shifts are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 8 hour shifts are preferred Monday through Friday from 8-4.
Also needed are volunteers with extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, heating/venting, etc. that would be willing to teach staff and perhaps conduct monthly workshops. Call Joe at (256) 308-1160 for more information or email us.
