Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

•Warehouse Worker: prepare donations, unload truck, provide in-store customer service, stock the store.  Some heavy lifting may be involved.
•Truck Assistant: load/unload truck, drive for pickups (truck provided).  Some heavy lifting may be involved.
•Office Assistant: work on computer, prepare displays, prepare for events.
•Other: marketing, fund raising, working on special events, cleaning.

Four-hour shifts are available from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday.  Saturday shifts are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  We ask that volunteers commit to one shift per week for 3 months.

Also needed are volunteers with extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, heating/venting, etc. that would be willing to teach staff and perhaps conduct monthly workshops. Call Joe Bachuss at (256) 308-1160 for more information.
